Just to let you know.

They especially don’t work when your “petition” is a Facebook group.

I’m going to shoot the next person I see who joins the group “THEY ARE TRYING TO SHUT DOWN FACEBOOK - PETITION TO KEEP IT! INVITE ALL!” or “THE JENA SIX PETITION PLEASE READ AND LET EVERYONE KNOW” because I simply wonder how the fuck I could associate myself with someone so stupid.

Hey, you want to know what your Facebook group with 2,000-some-odd members means to a court case? Abso-fucking-loutely nothing. If Mark Zuckerberg actually did steal the idea/code/whatever for Facebook from some other people, guess what, no matter how many people you have in your dumb group isn’t going to change that fact, or will it gain any sympathy in the final decision. It’s futile.

Also, what happened in Jena, Lousiana is a real shame and is definitely not something that should be happening if we are to ever be claimed as a “tolerant society,” but your Facbook group is still useless. It will fall upon deaf ears. If you really care that much about it, get off your lazy ass and do something real about it. An “Internet Grassroots Campaign” will not get anything done.

Internet petitions just don’t work. They can’t be taken seriously. If you need to get something done, you need to take som real action to get any real results. It’s not that hard to see that.

Also, I would have posted this on Facebook, but I have some friends, who I sometimes wonder why I associate with them, whose answers to any complaining is “DEAL WITH IT FAGTARD HUR HUR.”

Apple: OK, SO YOU’RE DOING THIS WITH YOUR IPHONES ANYWAY, SO LET’S MAKE MONEY OFF OF IT!

Apple Whores: YES! PLEASE! WE LOVE THROWING MONEY YOUR WAY, KING JOBS!

Also, for the record, I think the iPod Nano redesign looks like ass and the Cover Flow interface looks like it was just thrown on for shits and giggles, nowhere nearly as well done as elsewhere.
