Mac OS X 10.5 Recieves UNIX 03 Certification; Menu Bar Still Totally Unfuckingreadable

Just this week, Apple received a little boost to their marketing machine for OS X 10.5 (”Leopard.”) They can now, “legally,” say OS X is “UNIX compliant.”
What does this change for Apple and the long-anticipated Leopard?
Abso-fucking-lutely nothing.
All having “UNIX certification” shows is that they had the money and time to waste to throw at the Open Group to get some frivolous certifications that changes nothing. Even if they didn’t, they would still be say OS X is UNIX (a lie, since it’s based on BSD, which is only a UNIX derivative, much like Linux,) and it would still mean absolutely nothing to the end users.
