Of broken bones

Posted on: January 20, 2007

I broke my elbow a few days ago. I slipped on some ice at my high school’s parking lot (no intention of suing because suing a school district is just a retarded idea,) and fell on it.

Got an X-ray the next day and there was a nice, clean fracture on the ulna, just about an inch below where everything meets to make the elbow.

Have a full cast on my right arm from the palm of my hand to a few inches below my armpit.

Might need surgery, but only if the bone shifts too much out of place.

All in all, it kinda sucks, especially going to class, but I can deal with it.

Glad my new messenger bag came in yesterday, so carrying stuff won’t be a total pain in the ass now.

Normally, I wouldn’t post something like this here, but I sort of gathered during Christmas that some of my extended family reads this every once in a while, so I felt I should just throw this here so they can be “in the know.”

Apple Announces iPhone, AppleTV, Decides to be Sony

599 US DOLLARS jokes aside, this thing is well, a joke. I guess Apple decided they didn’t fail hard enough with the Motorola ROKR (FLOPR) venture.

Also the AppleTV device is pretty laughable. How do you bring that one up?

“OK guys. Now we love to watch stuff that’s on our computer on our TVs. You probably already do that with a Mac Mini. So what we’re going to do is shit all over that idea and give you the same concept, yet crippled and less useful.”

This is all about as hilarious as some of the stuff they announced for OS X 10.5 “Let’s Screw Over the Third Party Developers, And Do Nothing Else Because it’s Easier to Make Fun of Microsoft and Windows Than Actually Doing Something- Also Big Cat Name.”
